Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Robotics Lab Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced robotics R&D lab in Redmond. You will manage around 10 robotic test stations, ensuring the lab, equipment, inventory, and infrastructure stay organized, safe, and operational, while collaborating with engineers, IT, and facilities.

This role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, equipment procurement, documentation, and the development of robust lab processes to support research and prototyping

Qualifications

• Experience managing a technical lab, hardware R&D, prototyping, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong equipment, inventory, logistics, and operational management experience.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills across PCs, hardware, and networking.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience developing operational processes and documentation.

Job description

Schedule: Core hours, +/- 10-3. Free breakfast and lunch provided daily on site

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: 12 months + extensions up to 2.5 years

We’re looking for a Robotics Lab Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced robotics R&D environment in Redmond. This person will oversee approximately 10 robotic test stations and help ensure the lab, equipment, inventory, and supporting infrastructure stay organized, safe, and operational.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily operations across robotic test stations and lab infrastructure


• Coordinate lab scheduling, equipment utilization, inventory, and maintenance


• Perform basic troubleshooting on robotic stations, PCs, hardware, and connectivity issues


• Manage equipment procurement, vendors, shipments, and receiving


• Maintain lab documentation, operating procedures, and safety standards


• Partner closely with robotics engineers, researchers, IT, facilities, and operations teams

What We’re Looking For:
