Job summary

Green by Nature is hiring a Roadside Mowing & Brushcutting Team Member to support multiple council contracts in Ipswich. You will work with a team to maintain roadsides, cut grass, and ensure high-quality green spaces while adhering to safety procedures and schedules.

The role suits outdoors enthusiasts who are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow instructions. A manual licence, White Card, ACDC licence, and TMIs are preferred, with potential overtime in warmer months.

Qualifications

• Experience in roadside mowing and brush cutting of open spaces.
• Valid manual driver’s licence.
• White Card and ACDC Licence.
• Traffic Management experience (TMI Certification, willing to upskill).
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team or solo.
• Punctual, reliable and able to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

As a Team Member, you will be responsible for working alongside a team to maintain and enhance roadsides across our various council-controlled contracts within Ipswich.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.

• Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
• Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
• Complete service requests as required
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
• Monday to Friday work schedule with early start and early finish
• Competitive hourly rate

• Previous experience in roadside zero turn mowing and brush cutting of open spaces
• Valid Manual Drivers Licence
• White Card
• ACDC Licence
• Traffic Management experience highly regarded - TMI Certification (Willing to upskill for the right applicant)
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
• Be punctual and reliable
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
