ConnectSydney, a joint venture involving ServiceStream, Boral and Johnson Controls, manages the Harbour Zone for TfNSW and seeks an Electrical Technician to perform planned maintenance, upgrades, fault finding, and repairs across TCS, VMS, TMU, VSLS, school signs and street lighting.

On-site training is provided; two weeks of days, one week of afternoons, one week of nights on a 16-week roster with weekend on-call.

Qualifications

• NSW electrical licence (supervisor/contractor) required.
• Current valid driver's licence
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Desirable: Authorised traffic controller; WP licence; Safe Working at Heights; First Aid/ CPR / LVR; MR truck licence; EWP; PLC or fibre accreditation.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and repair TfNSW roadside devices and equipment, update records and schedule maintenance.
• Ensure safety policy and environmental standards compliance; manage timekeeping.
• Lead own and small works team’s daily tasks and coordinate with partners.
• Address asset faults and incidents; investigate and repair electronic devices.
• Report to stakeholders and collaborate with Connect Sydney staff.
• Rotating roster: days, afternoons, nights; weekend on-call 24 hours.

NSW electrical licence (supervisor/contractor)

High Risk Work licence WP (desirable)

Safe Working at Heights (desirable)

First Aid, CPR and LVR (desirable)

MR truck licence (desirable)
