Job summary

Rasheed and Sons Pty Ltd is seeking an Automotive Mechanic - Roadside Assistance Technician to join our Sydney team. This hands-on role involves diagnosing and resolving vehicle mechanical and electrical issues at customer locations, with an emphasis on independent work and safe, professional service.

Responsibilities include roadside attendance, battery and electrical checks, basic repairs, documentation, and using diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Automotive Technology or equivalent.
• Australian-recognized automotive trade qualification.
• Minimum 12 months of relevant automotive mechanical experience.
• Current NSW trade person license is mandatory.
• Full Australian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Attend roadside assistance jobs and provide professional mechanical assistance.
• Diagnose and repair a range of vehicle mechanical faults.
• Perform battery, starting and charging system checks.
• Diagnose basic automotive electrical faults.
• Carry out minor mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis.
• Safely use automotive diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear advice.
• Complete job reports and required documentation.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Manage roadside jobs efficiently and independently.
