Job summary

Golden Plains Shire Council invites applications for a Roads & Drainage Maintenance Worker on a casual basis, based at our Linton Depot. The role offers an hourly rate from 36.77 plus casual loading and super, with a pathway to permanent if business needs and performance align.

Ideal candidates will have plant operation experience (rollers, HC trucks, excavator, watercart) and an HC licence, plus the ability to work independently while maintaining safety, quality and timely delivery of

Qualifications

• Experience operating plant such as rollers, HC trucks, excavator, watercart.
• HC licence is required.
• Transferable maintenance skills for local communities.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workload and quality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out roads maintenance and construction tasks daily as directed.
• Operate mobile plant safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily checks and basic maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Assist with general maintenance as directed.
