Job summary

Downer is seeking Labourers to join the Civil team in Sydney, supporting the North Connex, Lane Cove Tunnel and M2 networks. The role involves vegetation work, sign maintenance, road furniture inspections, pothole repairs and graffiti removal.

This position is essential for keeping motorways safe and operational around the clock, with primary day shifts and some night shifts required. Applicants should have a MR licence and ITCP accreditation or the ability to obtain them, plus a White Card and

Qualifications

• MR licence and ITCP accreditation preferred or ability to obtain
• White Card (GCIC) required
• Exposure to roadside maintenance, civil works or landscaping advantageous
• Commitment to safe work practices and procedures
• Strong safety focus and teamwork required

Responsibilities

• Maintain road corridors and tunnel assets to keep networks safe and operable
• Perform vegetation management, sign replacement, road furniture inspections and pothole repairs
• Operate vehicles as required and support night and day shifts
• Adhere to Downer Zero Harm initiatives and safety policies
