Mader Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Road Transport division in Western Australia. The role focuses on delivering services to clients, maintaining safety and quality, and driving growth across the region.

You will oversee a 130+ field workforce, manage recruitment, and partner with senior leadership on strategic planning. The position is based at Mader HQ in Applecross with standard weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams in mining, road transport, or heavy industry environments.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate and manage large workforces.
• Proven track record in safety, quality, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Road Transport division in WA.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients as primary contact for ops matters.
• Identify growth opportunities and drive new business development initiatives.
• Provide leadership and performance management to a 130+ person field team.
• Oversee workforce planning, mobilisation and resource allocation.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies.
• Monitor performance, labour utilisation and financial outcomes.
