Job summary

Enviro Sweep is offering a casual role at our Coffs Harbour site, with 15–30 hours per week and a flexible roster. You will perform road and site sweeping duties, support general labour tasks, and help maintain safety and quality on every job.

This role suits someone who is reliable, semi-retired or seeking work-life balance, with training provided to support delivery and safety protocols. A White Card and MR licence are essential, and you must be able to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland MR licence and White Card.
• Minimum 3 years of truck driving experience (garbage/dump truck experience bonus).
• Must be reliable, flexible and able to work varied rostered shifts.
• Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
• Ability to operate safely and follow safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Performing all required road and site sweeping duties as scheduled.
• Performing general labouring duties as required.
• Ensuring road sweeping meets management standards and customer expectations.
• Completing site inductions and accreditation where required.
• Performing start-up, wash-down, end-of-shift and routine maintenance procedures.

Our Coffs Harbour site is in a new era and our customer base is growing.

Are you hard working and looking for a role driving for part of the week or more when business needs it?

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are seeking a roster offering some work-life balance or who are semi-retired.

Successful candidates should be reliable and flexible to do shifts as rostered on a couple of work days, or a few hours as needed or on call work. Having a passion for driving large vehicles also helps in your successful delivery of this unique work.

Work will be in and around Coffs Harbourand can include afternoon, night and morning shifts as needed. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor.

Previous Sweeper Operator experience is great. But if you don’t have this... but you do have truck driving skills, all good! We can provide the training. Easy!

Main Responsibilities of the Role include:

Performing of all required road and site sweepingduties as scheduled

Performing any general labouring duties that may be required

Ensuring road sweeping work meets the standards of management and the expectations of customers

The completionof site inductions and accreditation with respect to customer siteswhere required

Performing all required start-up, wash-down end of shift and routine maintenance procedures

What do I need to be great at this role ?

Have a currentQueensland MR licence orhigher and a White Card

Minimum of 3 years Truck driving experience (council garbage truck, dual steering experience is a bonus)

Be able to work independently & use sound judgement

Display a sense of urgency, reliability and punctuality inyour work

Be willingto work varied and flexible hoursincluding weekend work (essential)

Have a good energy and fitness level

Continuous safety awareness and ability to follow safety processes

Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen
