Job summary

Enviro Sweep is expanding and currently has multiple openings for Road and Site Sweeper Operators based at our Rockhampton depot. The role suits reliable and flexible individuals who enjoy a steady workload and overtime opportunities.

Training is provided, and a uniform is supplied. Successful candidates will drive and operate sweeping equipment around Rockhampton with shifts that may include afternoon, night and morning work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years truck driving experience, dual controlled vehicle experience is a bonus.
• Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and reliability.
• Willingness to work varied hours including weekends; safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Performs road and site sweeping duties as scheduled.
• Completes start-up, wash-down, end-of-shift and routine maintenance procedures.

The Opportunity

Due to our ongoing expansion, we have opportunities for Road and Site Sweeper Operators based at our depot inRockhampton.

Successful candidates should bereliable, flexible and happy to work overtimeas required. Having apassion for driving medium duty trucks is welcome too!

Work will be in and around Rockhampton and can include afternoon, night and morning shifts as needed.

Previous Sweeper Operator experience is great... But if you don’t have this BUT you do have truck driving skills, all good!We can provide the training. Easy!

What are the main requirements of the Role?

• Performing of all required road and site sweepingduties as scheduled
• Performing all required start-up, wash-down end of shift and routine maintenance procedures

What do I need to be great at this role?

• Minimum of 3 years Truck driving experience (council garbage truck, road sweeping, operating dual controlled vehicles is a bonus)
• Be able to work independently
• Display a sense of urgency, reliability and punctuality inyour work
• Be willingto work varied and flexible hoursincluding weekend work (essential)
• High level of safety awareness
• Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen
• Have a currentQueensland MR licence orhigher and a White Card
