Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Road Worker in the Swan Hill region, Victoria, to support on-ground road maintenance and resurfacing activities. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to site procedures while operating equipment and tools on various worksites.

You will contribute to planned maintenance projects, respond to urgent repairs, and participate in pre-starts, risk assessments, and documentation. The position requires flexibility for overtime and call-outs as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires safety-focused mindset and ability to work across dynamic road maintenance sites.
• Demonstrates reliability, teamwork and willingness to overtime or call-out.
• Flexibility to adapt to multiple tasks and shift patterns, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Undertake vegetation control, graffiti removal, pothole repairs and sign maintenance.
• Operate mobile plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out road construction and maintenance works near live traffic in a safe manner.
• Participate in toolbox meetings and daily pre-starts.
• Complete risk assessments and project-specific data capture/documentation.
