Local Government Procurement (LGP) in Sydney is seeking a Contract Officer to manage and administer contracts, engage with contractors, and ensure compliance with documentation and reporting standards.

You will oversee planning, administration and execution of key tender processes while collaborating with a dedicated team. The role emphasizes robust organisational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, contracts or supply chain.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and balance strategic and urgent needs.
• Strong administrative and analytical skills with a results focus.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Qualifications in procurement, contracts, supply chain, commerce, or business, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors' compliance with administrative requirements.
• Maintain data accuracy in CRM, Vendor Panel and website.
• Manage day-to-day contract processing tasks.
• Handle debt collection to secure contract management fees.
• Analyse contract data for insights.
• Assist in preparing tender documents, ensuring compliance.
• Manage the execution of deeds.
• Collaborate with a team to achieve broader goals.
