Job summary

Torbay Lifestyles & Care in Hervey Bay, QLD, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide evidence-based nursing care aligned with resident care plans.

You will lead a care team, supervise RN Graduates, ENs, Student Nurses and PCWs, and collaborate with families, GP's and allied health staff to deliver high-quality care. A commitment to aged care quality and ongoing professional development is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing with current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
• Maintain up-to-date professional and ethical practice in aged care and infection control as per Nurses Code of Conduct.
• Police Certificate (valid and current).
• COVID-19 vaccinations x 2 and current flu vaccination recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care per residents' care plans in collaboration with residents and care team.
• Lead and supervise Registered Nurse Graduates, Enrolled Nurses, Student Nurses and Personal Care Workers.
• Liaise with clinical staff, residents, families, allied health professionals, GPs and external organisations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents' needs and conditions.
