Job summary

Hunter New England Imaging (HNEI) is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team across John Hunter Hospital, Belmont Hospital, Maitland Hospital and Calvary Mater at Waratah. You will work in a fast-paced, innovative environment delivering expert patient care through interventional radiology, angiography and operating theatre procedures.

The role offers professional development with a Clinical Nurse Educator, opportunities to grow scrub and angiography skills,

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
Experience in Interventional Radiology, Medical Imaging, Angiography or Operating Theatre is highly regarded, but we welcome development of new skills.

Responsibilities

Make a difference at every stage of the patient journey, delivering expert, compassionate care across diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Support patients before, during and after procedures.
Develop your scrub, scout and Angiography skills.
Monitor and respond to changing patient needs.
Assist with cannulation, sedation and recovery care.
Work closely with an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Participate in a seven-day rotating on-call roster.
