Job summary
Ipswich City Council is seeking a Registered Nurse Immuniser to deliver safe, high-quality immunisation services across community and school clinics in Ipswich. You will engage effectively with clients, support cold chain management and respond to adverse reactions as needed.
The role requires APRHA registration, HESA immunisation qualification, ASCIA/anaphylaxis training, and a current Queensland C-class licence.
Qualifications
- APRHA RN with current unrestricted licence to practice.
- HESA approved immunisation qualification required.
- ASCIA or anaphylaxis training required.
- Immunisation proof for all VPDs (vaccines).
- Current C class Queensland driver's licence.
- Immunising experience and passion for the work.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team.
- Agility in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Immunising at community clinics and schools for babies, children, adolescents and adults.
- Facilitate cold chain management of vaccines.
- Be a committed team member delivering excellent immunisation service.
- Monitor and manage any immunisation adverse reactions.
