Rural City of Wangaratta invites applications for a Casual Immunisation Nurse in Wangaratta, VIC. This Division 1 Nurse role focuses on immunising a wide age range within the community, delivering safe, calm and person-centred care.

You’ll administer vaccines in schools and public sessions, help coordinate rosters, maintain clinical readiness, and respond to adverse reactions, while collaborating with Health officials to uphold best practice standards.

Qualifications

• Current Division 1 Nurse registration.
• Proven immunisation experience across diverse age groups.
• Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and community-focused.

Responsabilités

• Administer vaccines in schools and public sessions.
• Coordinate rosters and staff coverage for sessions.
• Maintain clinical readiness: supplies, sterile trays, and equipment.
• Respond to adverse reactions, including anaphylaxis, quickly and effectively.
• Collaborate with Medical Officer of Health and Coordinator of Environmental Health to uphold best practices.
