Australian Red Cross Lifeblood in Robina, QLD, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a permanent part-time role with a 50-hour fortnight and rotating shifts Monday to Sunday. You will support donor services and ensure a smooth blood collection process.

You will greet donors, provide clinical oversight, perform routine tests, set up equipment, insert needles, manage adverse reactions, and assist donors with rebooking for their next donation. AHPRA registration is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration.
• Ability to greet and interview donors to assess eligibility.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts across a fortnightly rotating roster.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and interview potential donors to assess eligibility and suitability.
• Provide clinical oversight and guide team during blood collection.
• Perform routine tests (blood pressure, haemoglobin) and prepare equipment.
• Set up machines and collection equipment; insert needles for blood components.
• Manage adverse donor reactions and support post-donation care.
