Job summary

The Braidwood Multi-Purpose Service in New South Wales is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on an eight-week contract from 2 November to 28 December 2026. You will work within a dynamic ED, applying your clinical expertise to a team that values skilled, responsive care in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in emergency or acute care settings.
• ALS certification current.
• Competence in triage assessment and patient prioritisation.
• Cannulation and core emergency nursing procedures.

Job description

Braidwood Multi-Purpose Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis from 2 November to 28 December 2026. This is an eight-week opportunity to work in a dynamic emergency setting, bringing your clinical expertise to a team that values skilled, responsive care. Based in Braidwood, NSW, this role offers the chance to make a direct impact in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) registration with AHPRA

• Proficiency in cannulation and other core emergency nursing procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing
• Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing
