Job summary

Respect Aged Care is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, contemporary nursing care in our aged care setting. The role reports to the Care Manager; you will work with the team to support residents across assessments, care planning, and clinical duties.

The position requires AHPRA registration, knowledge of aged care standards, and the ability to secure Police Clearance. Competitive salary and development opportunities are offered in a not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration required.
• Knowledge of Standards for Aged Care and Aged Care funding.
• Willingness to obtain Police Check and meet Aged Care Worker Screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Compile comprehensive resident histories and assess care needs on admission and ongoing assessments.
• Maintain detailed records reflecting care delivery and updates to care plans.
• Provide direct clinical care including personal care, pain management, and assistance with GP rounds as needed.
• Administer medications with proper ordering, storage and documentation per policy.
