Job summary

Gilgandra Shire Council has a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Cooee Lodge Aged Care Facility. This position may be offered on a full-time, part-time or casual basis, with Monday to Sunday shifts.

Salary range between $80,000 - $110,000 depending on experience. Reporting to the Clinical Care Coordinator, you will assess, plan and evaluate care with residents and their representatives, coordinating with allied health and facility staff to ensure

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in aged care is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite expected.

Responsibilities

• Consult with residents/representatives and care team to plan and assess care.
• Manage care plans including wound care and outcomes for residents.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders through established channels.
• Promote teamwork within the care team and across service types.
• Ensure all documentation complies with policy, procedures, ACFI and Accreditation.
• Follow WHS guidelines including infection control and safety procedures.
