Pelican Boat Hire in Noosaville, Queensland, is seeking a Barista / Retail Crew for a casual, year-round role at our riverside site. You will welcome guests, prepare quality beverages, assist with retail and boat hires, and deliver friendly service in a busy hospitality setting.

This role offers 20+ hours per week, weekend availability, and a supportive team atmosphere. Prior barista experience is preferred; training will be provided to expand into retail and boat hire operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista in a busy cafe environment.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly manner.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages
• Operate and maintain barista equipment including espresso machines
• Manage retail transactions using POS systems and handle payments
• Assist with retail and tour sales and boat hire customers
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Provide excellent customer service in a busy environment
• Maintain personal hygiene and food safety practices
• Assist with light cleaning and restocking
• Support team and promote upselling of beverages
