Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a Degree in Finance or related discipline
• Knowledge and understanding of banking including basic deposit accounts and loans
• Knowledge and understanding of compliance areas relating to financial institutions including ASIC and APRA frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to implement technology and drive change
• High level problem solving and analytical skills
• Energised by building strong relationships in a collaborative and engaging style.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily Risk and Compliance monitoring activities and exceptions reporting.
• Perform weekly hindsight reviews of loan files for compliance and quality and reporting on outcomes and trends.
• Monthly reporting on R&C metrics and performing a variance analysis including commentary.
• Prepare RMT papers and circulating to senior managers prior to the meeting.
• Secretary to the RMT – agenda, minute taking and coordinating circular resolutions.
• Assist with ICAAP and capital position analysis.
• Draft compliance returns including COBA and other returns to CUSCAL, ASIC and APRA.
• Assist with internal and external audits and project work.
