Job summary

American International Group (AIG) is seeking an Analyst, Risk in Change to strengthen risk identification, assessment, and governance across Australia and New Zealand. This 12‑month fixed-term contract focuses on Line 2 risk support for priority projects, with cross‑functional engagement across ERM and business teams.

You will assist with risk assessments, issue tracking, and reporting while promoting consistent risk practices and timely escalation of emerging risks.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management, project support, governance, controls, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Ability to support multiple workstreams and deliver accurate materials at pace.
• Applicants must have valid rights to work in Australia; employer sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Support Line 2 risk input into priority projects, including project initiatives, risk change activities and ERM uplift work.
• Assist with risk assessments, issue and action tracking, control documentation, governance materials and reporting packs.
• Provide ad-hoc analytical, coordination and stakeholder support to help resolve risk matters and maintain momentum across deliverables.
• Work with business stakeholders and change/project teams to promote consistent application of risk frameworks, tools and expectations.
• Capture insights, dependencies and emerging risks to support escalation, oversight and continuous improvement across the Line 2 risk agenda.
