Job summary

Field Mining Services is seeking highly skilled Riggers for a CHPP shutdown in the Mackay & Coalfields region. Initial commencement is February 15th 2027 in the Blackwater region, with meals and accommodation provided and daily transport from camp to site.

Ideal candidates will have a Coal Board Medical, Standard 11, Confined Space, Working at Heights, Gas Test Atmospheres, HRWL RA/RI, a current driver's licence, and a dynamic safety approach.

Qualifications

• Coal Board Medical and site safety training required.
• Standard 11 or equivalent attainment is essential.
• Must hold a valid Coal Board Medical and safety tickets.
• Confined Space and Working at Heights competence required.
• Gas Test Atmospheres awareness and HRWL RA/RI understood.
• Current Drivers Licence is mandatory; operate safely at site.
• Dynamic approach to safety and risk management expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑risk rigging tasks during CHPP shutdowns.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and equipment is inspected.
• Coordinate with site teams and transport meals/accommodation logistics.
