Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia is seeking experienced Riggers based in Newcastle for an upcoming project with a well-established company. You will join a professional site team to perform rigging duties and assist with the safe movement, lifting and positioning of materials and equipment.

The role offers a base rate of 58.33 AUD per hour plus penalties, with 10-hour days on weekdays and a Saturday shift. The initial contract is three months with potential for extension, and an immediate start is

Qualifications

• Experience as a Rigger in industrial/construction environments.
• HRWL or Yellow Card required.
• White Card required.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical.
• Ability to pass a Fit Test.
• Strong commitment to safety and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general rigging duties and assist with safe movement, lifting and positioning of materials and equipment.
• Work as part of a professional site team to support rigging activities.
