Job summary

Clough is delivering the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facility upgrade in Western Australia in alliance with Water Corporation and Jacobs. We are hiring Rigging specialists to commence immediately on this EPC project, focusing on lifting, positioning and assembly of heavy machinery and structural steel.

You will assess loads, follow lift plans, and ensure safety standards are met. WA-based on-site work with opportunities for training and career advancement within a leading project delivery

Qualifications

• High Risk Work License – RB/RI/RA.
• Working at Heights.
• Construction White/Blue Card.
• Current Australian "C" Class Driver’s Licence.
• Current Australian "MR/HR" Class Driver’s Licence (Desired).
• High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (Desired).

Responsibilities

• Install and operate rigging equipment such as chain blocks, slings, pulleys and winches to lift lower, move or position machinery, spools, structural steel and other heavy objects.
• Assess objects to be moved, estimate their size, shape and weight and determine the type of rigging equipment necessary to lift the object safely.
• Inspect and maintain rigging equipment.
• Read, interpret and follow lift plans and procedures.

Want to work on an iconic local project?

Clough is in alliance with the Water Corporation and Jacobs, to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities.

The scope of the project includes upgrading the facility's sludge treatment processing system. This will enable the recovery of biosolids for agricultural use. The solid material, known as biosolids, will be used as a soil conditioner. Another by-product of the sludge treatment process is biogas, which can be used as a source of energy.

Clough currently has opportunities on our Woodman Point Project for Riggers to commence immediately
