Job summary

Livingstone Shire Council in Yeppoon, QLD, is seeking an experienced Coordinator Revenue Services to lead the Revenue team of five and oversee revenue systems, rating structures and processes.

Reporting to the Manager Financial Services, you will provide expert advice, drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance while supporting staff development. The role offers permanent full-time employment, relocation support and a strong regional lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Experience in revenue accounting, rating legislation and debt recovery.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage the Revenue Services team of five.
• Oversee revenue systems, rating structures and processes for accurate billing and compliance.
• Provide expert revenue and financial advice to internal stakeholders and the community.
• Support the development and review of revenue policies, procedures and processes.
• Contribute to budgeting, financial reporting, audits and internal controls.
• Manage revenue accounts, fees and charges registers and related processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue practices and service delivery.
• Support resource management across Revenue Services and build team capability.
• Foster strong relationships with Financial Services, Council and the community.
