Job summary

Reo Recruitment in Sydney's southern suburbs seeks a Revenue Accountant with solid accounting fundamentals and reconciliation experience. You will work across Community Revenue and Financial Control, leveraging Care Systems and Excel to analyse data, prepare reports and support process improvements.

Ideal candidates have qualifications in accounting or equivalent, and comfort learning new systems. The role offers growth within a dynamic Finance team and exposure to AI and evolving technology.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting fundamentals and experience with reconciliations.
• Experience handling data and financial processes.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables; VBA is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Community Revenue activities across claims, submissions, billing and reconciliations.
• Assist with debtor management, compliance and internal reporting.
• Provide broader support across Financial Control, including relevant accounting and reconciliation activities.
• Analyse financial data and prepare accurate reports using Excel.
• Develop understanding of interaction between residential and community revenue functions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and efficiencies.
• Support accurate and timely financial submissions and claims.
• Work collaboratively across Revenue, Financial Control and operational teams.
• Maintain clear internal communication and articulate financial issues and insights.
