Job summary

Altius Group seeks a Rehabilitation Consultant to assess and address physical, psychological, social and environmental factors affecting return to work. You will deliver strategies and manage cases under WorkCover, with holistic assessments and counselling.

You will collaborate with insurers, employers, and healthcare professionals to restore functional capacity and wellbeing, ensuring compliant, evidence-based interventions across diverse workplaces.

Qualifications

• ASORC membership is required for Rehabilitation Counsellors.
• Qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling is required.
• Current drivers' licence with reliable vehicle and insurance.
• Police Clearance and Working with Children Check are required.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Complete return to work case management for injured workers under WorkCover.
• Provide holistic assessments (Initial Needs, Workplace and Vocational) and interventions.
• Deliver Vocational Counselling and wellbeing programs, training and upskilling.
• Collaborate with individuals, employers, medical and allied health professionals.
