IPAR is seeking passionate Occupational Therapist professionals to join the IPAR team in Port Macquarie, NSW. This role offers flexibility, autonomy and the support of our experienced, multidisciplinary team.

You will deliver occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions, helping them achieve sustainable return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes. Work within a wide range of schemes including Workers Compensation, CTP, Life Insurance and Comcare.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
• General registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for helping others achieve positive outcomes.
• Empathy, resilience, and a client-centred approach.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation (desirable, not essential).
• A current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants.
• Apply clinical expertise to improve return-to-work outcomes.
• Partner with employers and employees to deliver injury prevention and workplace education programs.
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, insurers, and healthcare professionals.
• Conduct clinical and vocational assessments: initial, workplace, and functional capacity.
• Identify barriers and design practical solutions to support recovery and return to work.
