Job summary

Brooki Bakehouse on the Gold Coast is hiring a Retail Team Member with ASIC Basic Clearance to represent our brand in-store. You will greet customers, present our products, and operate the till while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Role is casual with training provided; you’ll join a friendly team in a growing Australian business, delivering a welcoming, high-energy experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid ASIC Basic Clearance for this role.
• Friendly, energetic, reliable and flexible across rosters including mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Retail, hospitality or food service experience helpful but not essential; full training provided.
• Current Food Safety certification or willingness to obtain is highly regarded.
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 20kg.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers warmly, processing sales accurately at the POS.
• Present and merchandise products to brand standards, keep displays stocked.
• Complete opening/closing checklists, cleaning, stocktakes and FIFO rotation.
• Follow food safety, allergen and HACCP procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver a high-energy customer experience.

As the face of Brooki in every store, our Team Members play a vital role in bringing the Brooki experience to life for every customer, every day. This role is responsible for presenting our products to the highest standard, delivering remarkable customer service, and keeping the store running smoothly and safely. Working closely with the Store Leader and wider team, you'll help build the energetic, welcoming atmosphere that makes Brooki stand out!

As a Brooki Team Member, you will:

• Greet and serve every customer with warmth, energy and genuine care, processing sales accurately through the POS system
• Present and merchandise our pre-packaged Brooki products to brand and quality standards, keeping the display well-stocked
• Complete opening/closing checklists, cleaning, stocktakes and stock rotation (FIFO)
• Follow food safety, allergen and HACCP procedures at all times
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a seamless, high-energy customer experience

What we're looking for:

• You must already hold a valid ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) Basic Clearance - this is essential for this role
• A warm, friendly and energetic personality, reliable and flexible across a rotating roster, including early mornings, weekends and public holidays
• Prior experience in retail, hospitality or food service is highly regarded but not essential - full training provided
• Current Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly regarded
• This role requires the physical ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day and lift stock up to 20kg
