Job summary

JB Hi-Fi Group is seeking a customer-focused Retail Team Member to join our team in Australia. You will deliver excellent service, support stock and merchandising, and contribute to a high-performance store environment.

You will help meet sales targets, participate in training programs, and assist with order fulfilment and customer service across the floor. Hybrid working is available for eligible roles.

Qualifications

• Provide a high level of customer service standards during pre, during and post-sale.
• Aim to achieve store sales targets by focusing on customer needs and product recommendations.
• Participate in store coaching and training modules, including the STARS program.
• Understand and demonstrate the JB Hi-Fi 5 Steps of selling in all customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service standards including pre, during and post the sale.
• Achieve sales targets by putting the customer at the centre and creating "Raving Fans".
• Demonstrate safe work practices and contribute to a safe environment.
• Assist with merchandising and adhere to JB Hi-Fi Merchandise standards.
• Support stock receiving, order fulfilment (delivery & click & collect), and customer inquiries.
• Engage with Store Management and contribute across Sales, Merchandise and Operations.

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Team Member to join our team in New Zealand. In this role, you will create, support and contribute to a high-performance culture to enable a great customer experience across the store.

• Provide a high level of customer service standards including pre, during and post the sale.
• Achieve sales targets for you and your store by:
  • Putting the customer at the centre of everything you do and creating "Raving Fans"
  • Participating in all suppliers, compliance and sales training modules
  • Participate in the STARS coaching program to learn and demonstrate the required sales behaviours
  • Understand the JB HiFi 5 Steps of selling and demonstrate in all customer interactions
• Demonstrate safe work practices and assist the company in providing a safe and healthy environment.
• Contribute to the JB HI-FI brand and store experience by assisting with merchandising of all products on the sales floor, adhering to JB Hi-Fi Merchandise standards
• Enable a safe work environment for you, your team and customers, ensuring all OHS policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Support the efficient delivery and processing of stock into store, following store receiving processes
• Manage order fulfilment (delivery & click and collect) in line with procedures, including product pick and pack & dispatch, order fulfilment enquiries
• Engage positively with Store Management, take on board feedback to continuously grow and learn
• Assist with customer service requirements on the counter and on floor payment devices
• Assist the Store Management team, where required across our Sales, Merchandise and Operations areas

Qualifications

• Experience in being part of a high achieving team
• Demonstrated ability in required skills and competencies
