Job summary

City Beach in Airlie Beach is seeking a Retail Supervisor to support the store leadership team in daily operations and to supervise our store teams. You will lead from the front, delivering exceptional customer experiences through strong product knowledge and service.

Responsibilities

• Create a customer-focused culture and develop a supportive environment for the team.
• Support store operations including stock management, shrinkage reduction, store presentation, promotions and sales readiness.
• Collaborate with store leadership to achieve KPIs in Sales, People, Compliance, Visual Merchandising and Wages.
• Maintain high standards of store and stockroom presentation.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to guide customers.
• Drive store budgets and targets in collaboration with leadership for outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Lead shifts, manage opening/closing, cash, security and team supervision.
• Provide coaching and training to team members and report outcomes to leadership.
• Ensure a safe, compliant and positive work environment following WHS and company policies.
• Uphold company policies and escalate issues as needed.

The role:

As a Retail Supervisor at our Airlie Beach store, you will be responsible for supporting the store leadership team in overseeing the daily operations of our retail stores and supervising our store teams. In this role, you will lead from the front, providing an exceptional and memorable experience for our customers through your outstanding product knowledge, customer service and ability to offer solutions. You will also work with the Store and Assistant Store Manager to deliver on business objectives and key success indicators.

What you'll be doing:

• Create a customer-focused culture through a supportive, development-driven environment that enhances both team and customer experiences.
• Support store operations, including stock management, shrinkage reduction, store presentation, promotions, and sales readiness.
• Collaborate with store leadership to achieve KPIs in Sales, People, Compliance, Visual Merchandising, and Wages.
• Maintain high standards of store and stockroom presentation.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to guide and assist customers.
• Work with leadership teams to drive store budgets and targets, contributing to results and customer satisfaction.
• Lead shifts, handling opening/closing, cash, security, and team supervision.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and training to team members, reporting outcomes to leadership.
• Ensure a safe, compliant, and positive work environment, following all WHS and company policies.
• Uphold company policies and employment standards, escalating issues to leadership as needed.
