Job summary

Save the Children Australia is seeking a Retail Store Manager for our Glenelg East Op Shop in South Australia. You’ll lead a diverse team of volunteers, drive customer service excellence and work to meet store targets while delivering the organisation’s retail vision.

You’ll mentor volunteers, develop marketing initiatives, manage rosters, and collaborate with the retail team to maximise profits and programs that transform lives.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership and customer service experience.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach volunteers.
• Experience developing and executing marketing activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support your team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve store targets.
• Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, training and support for volunteers.
• Develop and execute local marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Manage the volunteer roster and ensure shifts are covered.
• Collaborate with the retail team to drive sales and maximise profits.
• Support late night shopping and other local store promotions.
