Job summary

The Reject Shop in Tasmania is seeking a hands-on store leader to run a busy shop on the floor with a team of 10 to 15 colleagues. You’ll be frontline, responsible for stock, service and daily operations, setting high standards and supporting your team.

This role emphasizes weekend rosters, on-floor leadership, and no desk work, with a clear path to grow as The Reject Shop continues investing in Australian stores, technology, branding, and people.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail store or similar operation.
• Ability to manage a floor team and drive store standards.
• Willingness to work retail weekend rosters and shift patterns.

You

You've managed a retail store, servo, fast food outlet, pub, chemist or similar, and you lead by doing. No discount variety experience needed. We'll teach you the business, and a global operating model most managers never get to learn.

What you get

From $31.11 base hourly rate (depending on experience) + penalty rates + overtime rates each week + bonus + 17.5% leave loading, and a real path forward as the business grows.
