Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking a reliable Retail Security Officer to join our team in Miranda, NSW. This full-time position focuses on maintaining a safe environment and delivering high standards of customer service through patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties.

You will hold a valid Security Licence, current First Aid and CPR, and be able to work day and night shifts, including weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols to ensure safety and security of people, property and assets.
• Provide a professional and approachable security presence.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies and medical incidents including CPR and AED use.
• Identify and assess risks, taking action per procedures.
• Adhere to all site and company security protocols; complete incident reports and maintain records.

We are currently seeking professional and reliable Retail Security Officer to join our team at Miranda, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable organisation that values professionalism, safety, and service excellence.

About The Role

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties.

Positions available: Full-time

Potential Earnings / Award Level 2

Shifts: Weekday and weekend | Day and night shifts

Roster (Rotating)

• Week 1 Wednesday to Saturday – 18:00pm to 6:00am
• Week 2 Thursday to Saturday - 6:00am to 18:00pm

Shift Structure: 1 x Weekday & 1 x Weeknight on a rotating basis

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols while wearing a security vest of 6kgs. to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets
• Provide a professional and approachable security presence
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, requests for assistance and medical incidents including CPR and AED use
• Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures
• Adhere to all site and company security protocols
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records

About You

• A valid Security Licence
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
• Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
• Good physical fitness, as patrols are required
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• A reliable and punctual work history
