Black Pepper Hornsby is seeking a Part-Time Retail Assistant to deliver a warm, personalised shopping experience and styling advice. You will help customers find the perfect fit, manage stock, merchandising, and transactions, while contributing to a friendly team environment in-store at Hornsby.

Ideal candidates are passionate about fashion, have prior retail experience, and can commit to a flexible part-time schedule including peak periods.

ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

As a Part-Time Retail Assistant at Black Pepper Hornsby, you’ll be an important part of creating a warm, welcoming and personalised shopping experience for our customers.

You’ll use your passion for fashion and genuine love of helping people to provide styling advice, assistcustomers in finding the perfect fit and make every visit to our Hornsby store a positive one.

Alongside delivering exceptional customer service, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the store, including stock management, visual merchandising, transactions and maintaining a beautiful store environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves fashion, enjoys connecting with customers and is looking for a rewarding part-time role within a friendly and supportive retail team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
• Build genuine connections with customers and understand their individual needs
• Assist customers with product selections, styling advice and finding the perfect fit
• Help create a positive and memorable experience for every customer who visits our Hornsby store
• Maintain the store’s presentation, ensuring it is clean, organised and visually appealing
• Handle customer transactions efficiently and accurately at the register
• Stock and replenish merchandise, ensuring products are available and presented beautifully
• Support inventory management and visual merchandising
• Work collaboratively with your team to achieve sales targets and store goals
• Bring a positive, enthusiastic and can-do attitude to every shift

• Experience in a customer-facing sales or retail role within a team environment

• Able to commit to a part-time shift pattern, with some flexibility to assist during peak trading periods
