Black Pepper Dubbo is seeking a friendly Casual Retail Assistant to join our team. You’ll help customers find styles that suit their needs, offer personalised styling advice and create a warm, welcoming shopping experience.

Be part of a supportive team delivering excellent service, maintaining store standards and contributing to sales throughout busy trading periods. Prior retail experience and a positive attitude are valued.

As a Casual Retail Assistant at Black Pepper Dubbo, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

You’ll love getting to know our customers, helping them find styles that suit their individual needs, and sharing your passion for fashion. From providing thoughtful styling advice to keeping the store looking its best, you’ll help create the warm, personalised experience Black Pepper is known for.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create genuine connections with our customers.
• Help customers discover styles, colours and fits that make them look and feel fabulous.
• Provide personalised styling advice and make every shopping experience special.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and inviting store environment.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Replenish stock, assist with deliveries and support inventory management.
• Help maintain beautiful visual merchandising and eye-catching product displays.
• Work collaboratively with the Dubbo team to achieve sales targets and store goals.
• Bring a positive, can-do attitude to every shift and help create a welcoming store atmosphere.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a people person who enjoys helping others feel confident and comfortable in what they wear. You understand that great retail is about listening, connecting and making every customer feel special.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• A genuine passion for fashion, styling and helping women feel their best.
• Previous experience in retail sales or a customer-facing role.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• The ability to adapt your selling style to suit each customer’s individual needs.
• A team-focused attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Reliability and flexibility to work an agreed casual shift pattern, including additional hours during busy trading periods.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the success of our Dubbo store.
