Job summary

Smokemart & GiftBox Smithfield is hiring a Sales Assistant to deliver high levels of customer service in a busy, sales-driven store. You will engage with customers, build rapport, and contribute to a fun, authentic shopping experience.

Responsibilities include cash handling and Eftpos, product knowledge across all pillars, maintaining store standards, assisting with stock, merchandising, and working toward budgets and KPI targets. A Police Check is required if you succeed in the interview.

Qualifications

• Validity of Police Check may be required on interview stage.

Responsibilities

• Providing high levels of customer service and building strong rapport
• Sound Cash Handling and Eftpos
• Learn and maintain solid product knowledge across all pillars of the business
• Maintain high level of store standards, assist with merchandising and presentation
• Work towards budgets, targets and KPI’s
• Assist with stock control and quality management
• Follow national legislation, WHS and security guidelines
