Job summary

Ted's Camera Stores in Canberra is seeking a motivated Retail Sales Assistant for our busy CBD store. This full-time role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, building product knowledge, and driving sales of photography products.

You will work with a supportive team, benefit from ongoing training, and have opportunities for career progression based on results and attitude. Flexibility for extended hours, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience in the retail industry.
• Photographic, Consumer Electronics or similar sales experience.
• Excellent sales skills and be able to meet productivity targets in a retail role.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to strengthen our sales and exemplary customer service focus.
• Confident & experienced in working with digital technology.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Retail Sales Assistant (Full Time) Photography Products

Ted's Camera Stores is Australia's leader in the Specialty Photographic Retail Industry for over 50 years, employing over250 employees in 15 stores across Australia.

The Role

A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Retail Sales Assistant for our busy Canberra CBD stores with the view to manage in the near future.

This position requires flexibility and availability aligned to retail hours (eg. extended trading hours, public holidays and weekend work).

About You

Whilst a photographic retail background is preferred we are willing to train you if you have outstanding sales skills from a non-photographic background.

Your background will be:

Prior sales experience in the retail industry

Photographic, Consumer Electronics or similar sales experience

Excellent sales skills and be able to meet productivity targets in a retail role
