Job summary

Petstock Albion Park is seeking a friendly retail teammate who loves pets and helping customers. You will provide exceptional service, educate customers on pet care, and help them find the best products for their pets during memorable store visits.

Expect to complete sales, maintain attractive displays, stock replenishment, and stay current with pet care knowledge. Weekend and public holiday availability is preferred to support our busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with memorable, meaningful interactions with customers.
• Educate customers on pet care and products to support best care for pets.
• Complete sales transactions and aim to reach store sales goals.
• Maintain store presentation and ensure stock is displayed and replenished accurately.
• Keep knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services.

• Provide exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
• Through the knowledge you gain, you will inspire and educate customers on the best care and products for their pets
• Complete memorable sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals
• Maintain a consistently high standard of store presentation while ensuring that new stock is promptly and accurately displayed whilst also ensuring we are replenishing our stock
• Demonstrate initiative by actively keeping your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services current
• Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore where the team loves coming to work each and every day
• Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team

• A passion for animals and providing the best customer service
• Experience in a similar retail environment
• Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales target
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the team
• Physically fit, with ability to lift products up to 20kgs
• Flexibility and ability to work weekends and public holidays
