Job summary

Afends Pty Ltd. is seeking casual retail assistants for a brand new Sunshine Coast store. You will deliver outstanding customer service and drive brand experience, engaging with customers and providing product knowledge. The role includes stock processing, visual merchandising, and assisting with end-of-day operations.

Ideal candidates have retail experience, strong organisational skills, and a friendly, problem-solving attitude. Weekend availability and multi-store flexibility are preferred.

THE ROLE

We are looking for some skilled casual retail assistants to join our brand new Sunshine Coast retail store. You will bring outstanding customer service, energy and drive to our new store. You will engage with and deliver exceptional brand experience to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Effectively engaging with and assisting our customers
• Receive, process and organise stock, including visual merchandising according to guidelines
• Process sales through POS
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide customers with accurate advice and recommendations
• Effectively contribute to a culture of exceptional customer service standards
• Inspire and mentor our retail team as a role model and brand ambassador
• Perform operational duties including end of day processing and cleaning, visual merchandising, managing deliveries and stock control

ABOUT YOU

Your previous experience retail within a brand and/or multi-brand environment will enable you to keep Afends ahead of the curb! You will also have:

• Demonstrated retail experience, ideally within a similar mono or multi-brand environment
• Excellent customer service skills, forward thinking and highly organised
• Exceptional Visual Merchandising capabilities and willingness to follow direction
• Accuracy and high attention to detail
• Commitment to delivering exceptional brand experience through sound product knowledge
• Willingness to work weekends and across our various retail stores
• Positive and friendly attitude with a talent for problem solving
