Job summary

Afends seeks a part-time Assistant Store Manager for our Sunshine Plaza store. You will lead a brand-focused team, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive sales through superb product knowledge and stock control.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will manage rosters, assist with visual merchandising, train casual staff and uphold our mission to create with purpose while maintaining KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated retail experience, ideally within mono or multi-brand environments.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong organisation.
• Ability to manage rostering and wage control.
• Strong visual merchandising and stock control capabilities.
• Proven ability to drive sales and achieve KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with daily operations and achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Receive, process and organise stock according to guidelines.
• Process sales through POS system.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of store items to provide accurate advice.
• Contribute to a culture of exceptional customer service standards.
• Inspire and mentor casual sales staff as a role model.
• Training and developing a team of casual sales assistants.
• Promote Afends brand experience across the Sunshine Coast store.

The Role

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will bring outstanding customer service, energy and drive across our Sunshine Plaza store. You will engage with and deliver an exceptional brand experience to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

Support the Store Manager with daily operations and achieving sales targets and KPI's

Receive, process and organise stock, including visual merchandising according to guidelines

Process sales through POS

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide customers with accurate advice and recommendations

Effectively contribute to a culture of exceptional customer service standards

Inspire and mentor our retail team as a role model and brand ambassador

Training and developing a team of casual sales assistants

About you

Your previous retail experience within a brand and/or multi-brand environment will enable you to keep Afends ahead of the curb! To be successful in this role you will have:

Demonstrated retail experience, ideally within a similar mono or multi-brand environment

Excellent customer service skills, forward-thinking and highly organised

Ability to effectively manage rostering and wage control

Exceptional visual merchandising and stock control capabilities

Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve KPI’s

Commitment to delivering exceptional brand experience through sound product knowledge

Willingness to work weekends and across our various retail stores where required

Positive and friendly attitude with a talent for problem solving
