Baby Bunting in Cranbourne is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service and assist new and expectant parents. You’ll guide customers through product features, manage stock, and keep the store looking its best.

The role offers a permanent part-time schedule with rotating shifts across weekdays, evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate brings customer service experience, professionalism, and a calm approach to resolving issues, with the ability to lift up to 15 kg

Located in the busy Cranbourne Homemaker Centre on Thompsons Road, our store is easy to access by car with free parking available, has bus access nearby, and is close to cafés, eateries and major retailers — ideal for convenient commutes and lunch breaks.

Employment Type – Permanent Part-Time

Multiple Rosters

RSA 1: Monday 8:30am–1:30pm | Saturday 12:30pm–5:30pm

RSA 2: Monday 12:45pm–5:45pm | Saturday 12:00pm–5:00pm

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a positive shopping experience, and supporting new and expectant parents on their journey. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and thrives in a dynamic retail environment.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

• Customer Engagement – Connect with and understand the needs of new and expectant parents, providing personalised assistance and product recommendations.
• Product Demonstration – Guide customers through product features and benefits, ensuring they make informed choices.
• Stock Management – Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the store is well-presented and organised.
• Flexible Scheduling – Work a rotating roster of flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

You’re a proactive and approachable individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You have a genuine passion for helping others and delivering exceptional customer service.

What You Bring To The Team

• Prior Customer Service Experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High Standards in customer service and store presentation.
• Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height. Ability to wear a headset to communicate with the team on the shop floor. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
