Job summary

Soul Origin is hiring a Retail Construction Project Manager to oversee end-to-end store builds, refurbishments and related projects across the group, ensuring delivery on time, to budget and to Soul Origin standards.

You will collaborate with franchise partners, landlords, and designers, manage tendering and contractor relationships, and travel to sites to keep projects on track while upholding WHS and building codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in retail/hospitality fit-outs, QSR experience essential.
• Experience with design-to-handover in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

The Opportunity:

The Retail Construction Project Manager will play an essential part in overseeing the successful end-to-end implementation of new QSR stores, refurbishments, and other key projects across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders along with the planning, implementation, and flawless execution of key construction deliverables ensuring all projects are delivered on time, to budget and in accordance with approved design documentation and compliance standards.

• A passionate and driven construction project professional with a strong background in QSR construction, shopfitting and fast paced retail environment.
• Managing end-to-end store delivery – from design to handover – ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to Soul Origin’s brand and safety standards
• Working closely with franchise partners, landlords, designers, and shopfitters to align on goals, expectations, and outcomes
• Leading the tendering, procurement, and contractor management process for new stores and refurbishments
• Ensuring compliance with building codes, WHS requirements, and Soul Origin’s operational standards
• Driving value engineering and cost management, balancing efficiency with design integrity
• Supporting and collaborating with internal teams – including Leasing, Operations, Marketing, and Brand – to bring each store to life
• Taking ownership of defect rectification, certification, and project close-out
• Contributing ideas that enhance store design, improve build efficiency, and deliver better franchise outcomes

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Qualification in Construction, Building, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience managing retail or hospitality fit outs (QSR experience essential, drive-thru experience is highly regarded
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and concurrently
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a sharp eye for detail
• Willingness to travel interstate to visit sites and support franchise partners
