Job summary

JIVARO Recruitment client, a well established retail business, is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to support its retail portfolio. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will partner with the GM Retail and State Managers to turn business strategy into people priorities.

This role goes beyond transactional HR. You will use people data to make decisions, spot risks early, and deliver initiatives that build leadership capability, improve workforce effectiveness and drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a senior HR or People & Culture Business Partnering role in a complex, fast paced environment.
• Proven experience influencing senior leaders and driving organisational performance.
• Strong capability in organisational design, workforce planning and end-to-end change management.
• Solid experience managing complex ER/IR matters and mitigating risk.
• Confident interpreting people analytics and translating insights into commercially sound recommendations.
• Credible, commercial and comfortable challenging constructively, with strong relationships across store support and distribution teams.
• Retail or multi site experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior retail leaders on organisational design and workforce planning.
• Identify and prioritise high impact people initiatives with measurable outcomes and ownership.
• Embed people priorities across the retail network including performance, talent reviews, and remuneration cycles.
• Analyse engagement, turnover, absenteeism, performance and safety data to shape priorities.
• Coach leaders and facilitate forums to lift capability in performance and accountability.
• Provide expert guidance on ER/IR matters, investigations and conduct issues.
• Lead engagement action planning and cultural initiatives to strengthen the employee experience.
• Lead P&C involvement in restructures and transformation projects with compliant communications.
