Job summary

Royal Sydney is seeking a friendly, proactive team member to deliver outstanding service to members by creating a welcoming golf and retail experience. Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, you will assist in the smooth running of the concourse and pro-shop areas, drive sales and maintain high standards of presentation.

This is a part-time role offering 24-32 hours per week, with availability for weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in sports/golf is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of golf etiquette and rules.
• Passion for delivering top-tier member service.
• Excellent communication skills and organisational ability.
• Friendly, positive and energetic with high presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members and guests.
• Assist with purchasing, stock control, and POS operations.
• Maintain Pro-shop and storage areas tidy and organised.
• Ensure dress code, phone usage and guest sign-in policies are followed.
• Log invoices, assist with stocktakes and events scheduling.
• Support management with tee bookings and time sheets.
• Perform daily operational tasks including bag and cart storage maintenance.

The Role

We’re looking for a friendly, proactive team player to deliver outstanding service to our members by creating a welcoming golf and retail experience. Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager you will assist in the smooth running of the concourse and pro-shop areas, drive sales and maintain high standards of pro-shop and concourse presentation.

This is a part-time role offering 24-32 hours per, with availability required for weekdays, weekends and public holidays. Shifts can range between 5:30am starts to 7:00pm finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service to members and guests.
• Assist with purchasing, stock control, and POS operations.
• Maintain Pro-shop and storage areas tidy and organised at all times.
• Responsible for ensuring that members and guests adhere to dress code, mobile phone usage and guest sign-in policies.
• Keep management updated with order requests, unpacking orders received, logging invoices through POS to be charged to member accounts.
• Assist management with quarterly stocktakes.
• Stay up-to-date with daily events/fixtures.
• Assist with tee bookings and time sheet management.
• Daily operational tasks including but not limited to cleaning and maintenance of bag storage, cart storage and staging areas.
