Job summary

RACV Retail Outlet in Traralgon is seeking a customer service specialist to support RACV members both in-store and over the phone with enquiries on Home & Car Insurance, Emergency Assistance, Travel Insurance and attraction tickets.

The role blends frontline customer service with training and a 6-week roster cycle, aiming to deliver exceptional member experiences and measurable outcomes. Previous sales exposure is valued but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in-store and by phone with inquiries on Home & Car Insurance, Emergency Assistance, Travel Insurance and Attraction tickets.
• Provide immediate, tailored solutions and educate members on best fit options.
• Support the Memberline Contact Centre with inbound calls.
• Work on a 6-week roster with a mix of shifts and training.
• Contribute to a positive member experience and exceed service standards.

Our RACV Retail Outlet based in Traralgonprides itself on providing exceptional service to our community and we are looking for acustomer service specialistto join our team.

You will be front line in assisting new or existing RACV members who visit our store, with all enquiries from purchasingHome & Car Insurance,Emergency Assistanceproducts to evenTravel InsuranceandAttraction tickets!As part of this exciting, blendedrole, you will also be assisting ourMemberline Contact Centrewith inbound home & motor insurance calls.

Commencing on Monday, 14th of September We are offering a Permanent Full Time 38 hours, working on a 6-week cycle fixed roster.

Provide immediate and effective solutions to our members, through meaningful and personalised conversations.

Ensure the identification of needs to educate and offer our members the best solutions for their motoring requirements and to deliver on our brand promise.

Face to face customer service experience

Over the phone customer service experience

Prior experience achievingsales targets & KPI'sis highly regarded but not essential.

Self-driven and motivated to succeed.

Proficient in navigating through multiple systems

Enthusiastic, resilient, and committed to providing a positive member experience.

Individuals that work well in a team environment.

Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded, as would significant experience working in a phone-based customer service environment.

Extensive Training Program:

RACV are offering7 weeks of full-time paid training (Monday – Friday).This may include2-3 daysin our Noble Park, VIC office.

With our unique learning approach of virtual classroom work (with an RACV facilitator), real time experience in your designated retail store, completed buddy sessions and ongoing support, you will be setup for the ultimate success in building a career with the RACV.

Following your training period, you will then transition and work on your dedicated rostered hours
