Job summary

Vicinity Centres is seeking a Maintenance Officer to support seamless operations across its retail destinations in Victoria. The role focuses on routine maintenance, essential repairs, and preventative tasks to prevent disruptions for retailers and customers.

Shift is 7am-3pm, Mon-Fri, with responsibilities spanning plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems to ensure safe, clean and well-functioning centres. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing building services through trade experience.
• Ability to deliver allocated projects and reactive maintenance on time and budget.
• Awareness of a risk register and HSE requirements.
• Understanding of warden responsibilities and supporting emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities to highest standards including staff toilets, loading docks, malls and public facilities.
• Identify maintenance requirements within budget and plan works.
• Repair and maintain lighting, structures, carparks, signage and gates.
• Administer maintenance requests and procurement for tools and supplies.
• Support centre emergency management procedures and equipment.
• Contribute to minor capital expenditure programs and KPI reporting.
