Job summary

Totally Workwear Melton is seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Assistant - Workwear & Safety to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Melton VIC 3337, you will be the face of our store, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a welcoming retail space.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized and visually appealing store environment, including stocking shelves and rotating displays.
• Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries, checking inventory and reordering when needed.

• Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
• Support promotional activities and window displays to attract customer interest.

Retail Assistant - Workwear & Safety (Melton)

Totally Workwear Melton is seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Assistant - Workwear & Safety to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Melton VIC 3337, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic retail environment specialising in quality workwear, uniforms and PPE. In this role, you will be the face of our store, delivering exceptional customer service whilst maintaining a well-organised and welcoming retail space. Your contribution will be essential in helping customers find the right workwear and safety solutions for their needs, ensuring they leave our store satisfied and confident in their purchases.

This is a casual role and will entail wekeend work.

Key responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and professionally, providing knowledgeable assistance in selecting appropriate workwear and safety products

Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash and card payments with precision

Maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing store environment, including stocking shelves and rotating displays

Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries, checking inventory and identifying when items need reordering

Answer customer enquiries about product specifications, sizing and safety features with confidence and accuracy

Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty

Support promotional activities and window displays to attract customer interest

Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations relevant to retail operations

What we're looking for
