Job summary

Hanaro Mart in Strathpine is seeking a reliable team member to help receive deliveries, organise stock and keep our shelves well presented. This role offers flexibility with Part Time or Full Time arrangements and hours ranging from 20 to 38 per week.

You will check deliveries against orders, replenish shelves promptly, and ensure correct storage for chilled and frozen items while maintaining safety and cleanliness. RSA certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail when checking deliveries.
• Ability to work quickly in a busy grocery store.
• Reliable and well-organised with good communication.
• Current RSA certificate required.
• Experience in grocery/retail is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery dockets, confirming quantities and reporting shortages, damage or discrepancies.
• Organise stock in the storeroom and replenish shelves promptly.
• Place chilled and frozen products in correct storage or display areas and follow stock rotation procedures.
• Check and record fridge and freezer temperatures, reporting readings outside the required range.
• Keep shelves, storage areas and workspaces clean, tidy and safe.
• Follow food safety procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Assist customers and team members as needed.

Location: Strathpine Centre, Shop 44-47, 295 Gympie Rd, Strathpine QLD 4500
Employment type: Part Time/ Full Time
Hours: 20 hours to 38 hours per week

Key responsibilities

• Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery dockets, accurately confirming item quantities and reporting any shortages, damage or discrepancies to the manager.

• Organise stock in the storeroom and replenish shelves promptly.

• Place chilled and frozen products in the correct storage or display areas and follow stock rotation procedures.

• Check and record fridge and freezer temperatures, and report any readings outside the required range.

• Keep shelves, storage areas and workspaces clean, tidy and safe.

• Follow food safety procedures, safe manual handling practices and all workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements.

• Assist customers and team members as needed.

What we’re looking for

• Strong attention to detail, especially when checking delivery quantities and product condition.

• The ability to work efficiently in a busy grocery store and safely handle stock.

• A dependable, organised approach and good communication skills.

• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.

• Previous grocery, retail, warehouse or stock replenishment experience is an advantage.
